It sounds as though Robert was mentioning some upcoming changes to the code
which will allow this.
I have 30 systems in two computers labs, with a similar situation. There are
times that I'd like to view or remotely control a system but don't want to
interfere with the user. My solution is to simply view in 'viewonly' mode
first, and once I determine that the machine is unoccupied, I uncheck the
'viewonly' option.
I never want to give the user the option to refuse connection, so this
workaround is all I need.
