Setting the font path to what I got back from "xset q" corrected a font problem
that I had but it sounds like yours is more severe. Note: I also had to use the
-cc 3 option for vncserver to get my HP Openview colors to look right. If this
doesn't help lemme know. I'm no expert but can look up things for you on my
HP9000's that VNC works on.

Subject: Font trouble on HP9000
I have installed VNC server on a HP 9000. However when I try to connect to
the machine using VNC viewer on my NT, I run into some trouble.
The log in screen for the HP comes up, but it is distorted and I can't
actually read any of the text. I have checked /var/dt/Xerrors and noticed
some trouble loading fonts. It displayed the following:
Warning No font found.
Warning:
Name: FONTLIST_DEFAULT_TAG_LIST
Class: XmRendition
Conversion failed. Cannot load font.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
