Using VNC with GDM (or xdm/kdm)

Well, I'm using GDM, to which I added:
[servers]
1=/usr/bin/X11/Xvnc
to my gdm.conf. It starts it up, but no programs ever run (namely,
gdmlogin).
I tried changing this to run the vncserver script, and then setting
$vncStartup to /etc/gdm/Init/Default, which it does run, but still
gdmlogin never came up. So I added gdmlogin to the above script
(which doesn't really make sense, but anyways). Gdmlogin started
fine, but as soon as I entered a username it just hung there. I
would think this is something people would want, no? If anyone could
offer more assistance it would be most appreciated.

EMYL,
Ryan
