Allow Properties problem

Hi I am having a problem with "AllowProperties" registry setting. When I set 
it to "0" to disable neone from changing the settings, I cannot log into VNC 
from a remote machine now. I searched the List Archives and could not make 
head and tail out of nething. If anyone would be kind enough to xplain me the 
prob I would be very thankful.
