Hello, I'm using VC++6.0 on WinNT4.0. I have successfully built the WinVNC server on VC6 w/o a problem. I would like to make some changes to the java source as well but have encountered difficulties compiling (I'm not real familure w/ Java development). I appoligize if there's a good build reference, I have been unable to locate one (let me know if there is!). Here are some specific questions:
1) What compiler do you use? I've dowloaded Java 2 SDK v1.3 and Forte, but have been unable to compile because of constant expression errors.
2) I'm assuming the .java gets compiled to *.class and a *.jar. It appears these are then used as resources in the WinVNC server so in essence the java applet is compiled into the server. Is this correct?
Thank you, Sorry if this is a dumb question. I've been searching all over for the past week and Haven't had much luck getting anything accomplished.
