I didn't even bother checking the permissions, I just installed it as a user
and it works fine (SuSE Linux). Best try first, ask later ;)

Subject: non-root user run vncserver on Unix
HI,
Can i run vncserver on Unix system if I am not a root?
I know from the FAQ that I don't have permission on
writing to the folder /tmp/.X11-unix .
Just want to know is there any ways I can do to run
vncserver if I'm not the root.
Thanks.
