I have a 6100 that I am attempting to run vnc server on. I wrote a few
days ago about not being able to connect to it, or my Blue and White G3,
with the vnc-3.3.3 for linux client. This problem still plagues me, but I
have been able to connect from the windows client as well as from the Java
client and the xrfbviewer-0.0.2. I guess that I should assume that this
is a bug in the linux server, although I do find it odd that no one else
is having this problem. In any case, the java solloution is good enough
for now.
The question that I have is was there a vnc server that was stable
on NuBus macs. I find that after connecting to the mac a few times with
the java client the server stops accepting connections. Usually it gives
me a T_DISCONNECT error, but sometimes it will just simply stop accepting
connections, or take the system down with a bus error. Any suggestions,
besides not running a 6100 would be greatly appreciated.
