I _think_ you'll find it's only a problem in 3.3.3r2 - there was a bug in
that which could cause, under specific circumstances, the passwords not to
be loaded from the correct user registry hive.  This caused the Default User
password to be used even when another user was logged in, erroneously.

Upgrade to 3.3.3R7!  It's grrrrrreat(tm)(*).
