Dear Cindy,

VNC is only a management tool. So VNC won't allow you to use file and
printer sharing, but if you can make a vnc connection, you should also be
able to share printers and so...

But, if you connect through the internet; there is a great danger that
someone may hack into your computer, and then you need a firewall / vpn to
use printer sharing through the internet.

If you send me your detailled configuration, I'll be happy to explain
several things.

Subject:	VNC

To whom it may concern:

Do I need a second phone line to use vnc, can I have file and printer
sharing with vnc, and can I use a modem or do I need to use a network card
to use vnc?

Also what kind of operating system do I use to connect to my friend's
computer. Does one computer have to be the server in order to use vnc?

Thank you for reading and responding,

Cindy
