Sure, that's what it's there for.  When you want to 'take over' as it were,
tell them to hover the mouse over the VNC taskbar icon, which will show
their current IP address which you will need to connect.  You will need to
arrange passwords between you too, as VNC requires a password so that not
just anyone can hack in.  :)
