Short Version:
vnc installation made windows nt4/iis 4 stop running asp files (html works
but no asp)
vnc installation made windows win2000/iis 5 stop running asp files (html works
but no asp)
Long:
Today we moved from carbon copy to vnc after a couple of tests I installed it.
On a couple of computers the installation asked about overwriting a read-only
file. I allowed it to do so since it had worked fine on lots of machines.
Now the _PANIC_ has arrived... I rebooted theese two machines coz the
installation asked for a reboot in the usual microsoft way.
While I was doing a winvnc -install on one of the mashines It came to my
attention that the servers didnt run .asp files.
I have deinstalled vnc from one of the mashines (a windows2000 box) the other
machine still got it running as a service (windows NT4 latest service pack)
Both machines wont run .asp files that worked fine before vnc installation.
there is no question about it, vnc installation made this happen.
Sure I'd like to use vnc on theese machines but Its _really_ important that
theese machines start running asp files again.
