Sun Solaris version 2.6 and 2.8

We are running VNC 3.3.3 on an E450/Solaris 2.6 (32bit kernel) and an
Ultra2/Solaris 7 (64bit kernel). It works fine on both - just make sure
xauth is in your path and the "vncserver" script actually points to your
installation of Perl (usually /usr/local/bin/perl).

But to answer your question - yes it works with the 2.6 32bit kernel and the
2.7 64bit kernel - I can't see why it would complain about 2.8 with either
kernel :-)

Cheers,

James Gray

Dear All,

I realise what I am about to ask is going to sound completely trivial to
many of
you, so I hope that you'll bear with me.

Although the download is stated for the 2.5 version of the Sun Solaris, does
anyone have any experience of running VNC on either version 2.6 or more
importantly the 64-bit version 2.8 (also known as 8).

Many Thanks,

paul Teulon.
