You should alternatively be able to create a hosts file in your Windows
directory which references the IP addresses you want, to a name.

Subject: winIP
Has anyone used WinIP (www.dragonmount.net) or come across it. It converts
a dynamic IP address into a fully-qualified domain name.
I can PING the address name created. I haven't yet tried VNCing it. This
appears to be the ideal solution for those of us with dynamic IP addressing
ISPs wishing to use VNC. However, if it's so ideal is there a
problem/security hole that I should be aware of.
