Don,
    you best bet is to experiment. If you connect a Win95 machine to your
proposed server via a serial cable and use DUN with a null modem you will be
able to simulate various connection conditions by varying the baud rate.
Then you will be able to judge for yourself about the acceptability of the
performance.
