moving from one X to another

I realize that this isn't technically a VNC question, but it is something
that would be very handy for VNC users on Unix platforms.

Is there a way to tell a running program to switch the display it is
showing on?  That is, could I take a netscape window that is running on
display :0 and tell it to switch over to display :1?
