Problem with Search engine!

Can everyone who's had specific problems with the search engine please
state which browser and platform they are using?  This may help the
webmaster ppl to track it down (if they read this list - if not can someone
notify them?).  If someone has it working, can they tell us what they're
using to make it work, too?
