Hello,
when i start APC's PowerChute for Linux in the VNCviewer it terminates on
startup with:
fatal: FATAL ERROR: MSG 0x0034dea8 [CAT 3/4 STD 57000 ]
Category: XVT release 3 assert (Signaled assert4)
Function: xvt_app_create
File: ./kpalet.c line: 484
I tried the glibc and the libc5 versions. Both report the same error. Since
i do not have the sources, i'm not able to locate the line 484.
Running PowerChute in a native X-Server (as on Linux or KEA!X on Windoze) it
runs normal. Does anyone know, where the differences are? I thought the
vncserver uses the X server on the linux machine (in this case KDE).
Thanks for any hints.
