You will only be able to connect to the remote workstations using the IP
addresses that the ISP has assigned to them.  (I am assuming that I read
that all your remote workstations have two IP's).

The 192.168.x.x range is a private network address specifically for use
outside the Internet.  If you attempt to connect to any address on that
network range, then your request should timeout or come back as invalid -
some sorta error message anyway.

Therefore if a workstation has the IP's of 192.168.1.1 and 12.13.14.15 you
can only connect via the 12.13.14.15 across the internet, and only provided
that it is a valid Internet IP.

I am trying to access workstations in remote offices that connect to the
internet via an ISP and a dial up connection. These workstations have a
static IP address in the range of 192.168.0.x as well as the IP assigned by
the ISP. My problem is that I cannot get a connection (error message -
Failed to connect to server) to these computers. My computer has a static IP
address (57.226.x.x) that has access to the internet via a router. Is there
anything I need to do at  the remote site to allow access. I can ping the
sites without any problems.
