Problems viewing the desktop on linux box

VNC uses a different startup file than your normal X session,  By default
it uses rxvt, which may not be installed on your system, or not where VNC
thinks it is.  Open ~/.vnc/xstartup with your favorite text editor and set
it up as yur please.
