Continuous redraws!

I have been setting up VNC for remote X display.  However one
application requires Psuedocolor mapping so I use the -cc 3 option for
the server.

The problem is that this same application come up, and then continuously
redraws the screen, I see the flicker of the redraw occuring.

How can I control this? or is this a problem with Psuedocolor VNC code?
