NT bug (?): running service for the first time

Hi, while installing vnc on 5 new NT 4 SP 5 machines, I have noticed that,
when starting the vnc service (manually) the first time, the icon does not
appear in the system tray. I think this is logical: when the 'icon helper
app' was run (when logging in), the service was not started yet.

Install sequence: (using v 3.3.3 currently on the website, 3.3.3r2 i guess)

run setup.
reboot.
re-login (as admin)
And then from the VNC\Administartive Tools menu:
install default reg-settings
install as service
start winvnc service

If my thinking is correct, this opens a way for some people asking for this
icon to be turned off: install vnc on all machines you want, as a service,
but set startup to manual. Then, when you need it, start the vnc service
remotely from the server manager.

If this is regarded as a bug, I guess you could solve it by starting the
helper app if someone is logged in at the moment the vnc service starts, or
just whenever the vnc service starts, if it can handle being run during the
logon screen...

Question: what happen then, if on a heavely loaded machine, the vnc service
is started only after login?

Arnt
