Yikes. Looks like there are quite a few changes in OS9, but this is the
first i've heard of problems with VNC. I don't run OS9 myself, so I can't
suggest very much - except to say that beta-2 runs OK under OS 8.6 (on my
powerbook 5300 at least). I've also been working on a couple of bugfixes
for beta-2, but which shouodn't affect menus very much - these fixes
haven't been released yet, but may be soon while beta-3 is still in the
background.

Can I ask: does the mouse carry on moving while the menus are down? If so,
then a patch to make it work should be easy. If not, then Apple did
something screwy to the menus in OS9 which will be a Pain. Personally I
don't run any new OS until it's been proven and some of the bugs found (and
usually fixed). I only wish more users, particularly windows users, would
do the same, and then we'd have a lot less buggy software :).

PS:
Can someone PLEASE do something about the Realtime BlackList mails I get
every time I post to this list?
