Nope, it's not circuitry.  This is happening at the digital level - the
window is being blanked white and repainted.  MacVNC (alternative viewer by
Purple Shark) uses a very similar window, but doesn't have this problem.

I wouldn't bother with switchboxes if they caused *that* much problem, if i
were you - in fact i don't have a switchbox myself, just a pair of monitors
on separate video cards.
