James,
I tried it both ways, in app mode and as a service. I also changed DebugMode
to 2 now. Still no Winvnc.log file on my hard drive (I searched the whole
drive for it). When is it supposed to be created? Right after the launch of
WinVNC?
Just for you to check, I have attached the important lines from my registry
to this message.

P.S.: I am running the most current versions of both, WinVNC and the VNC for
Sun Solaris.
