what is -192 error?

You're right, I've been looking for a mirror site for the 68k client
(I've having trouble extracting anything but a readme file from either
beta). I was thrown by the version number, I guess it stands to reason
they would be the same for the 68k and PowerPC versions. I haven't had
any other trouble extracting files with StuffIt Expander 5.5 (except for
the Drop Stuff addon, I only get a single readme out of it too). No-one
else has had this trouble?

Correct. The VNC Server is not 68K compatible at this time. It's also
a
fairly low-priority project to convert it to 68K, as even the PPC
version
needs a LOT of work.
Also, if you look closely, while booting, the VNCpatches icon will show
with a cross through it - there is no 68K code in that either.
In any case, why did you think that the code you downloaded was 68K? My
website doesn't contain such a thing... or maybe it's just my terrible
web
design not making that clear :/.
