Does VNC flood the system, and slow down the network?

VNC is tcpip ONLY, it doesn't "flood" the network at all. Unlike NetBuei and
AppleTalk, there is no broadcasting or announcing going on. When connected,
the connection is purely point to point. (if the machines are on the same
network)
It is probably close to the quietest service running on a mixed network.
