I've run into a situation that maybe someone has some ideas to try out.  I
have NT as a client and Linux as the host.  I'm trying to run an X program
that will only run with 8-bit video configuration.  I've set that up on
the Linux machine and can run the program fine from the console.  The
vncserver script has "8" for the depth definition.  When I try to run the
program from a VNC session, the program says it can't find an 8-bit
visual.

Might there be somewhere else I need to set the depth to 8-bit?
