Connecting to VNC on Linux box using XDM

That did the trick. I added '-httpd /usr/share/vncserver' (different
location in Debian potato than what you had) to the display line in
Xservers, restarted XDM, and it came right up.
I also tried replacing the Xvnc <options> with vncserver <options>, but
I ran into the 'couldn't find xauth in your path' error (not too
concerned, I'll just use Xvnc for now).
Jonathan - Thanks for your assistance as well - I set up the Xservers
file to use display :1 for VNC, that's why I used :5801 to connect to
the server.
