Need ideas on NT setup problem

I have WinVnc 3.3.2 installed on an PC running NT4.0 with SP5. When
I try to install the current version, Installshield starts running,
unpacks something (there is a directory in TEMP briefly) and then
exits without a trace (the directory has been deleted). There are
no SETUP processes hanging around either.
I have searched the archives for information about possible causes,
but I haven't found anything that helps yet.
I am not installing from a network drive.
My PATH variable has been trimmed to a minimum.
I am running from a fresh Administrator login.
And it still does the same thing. I know of no way to trace what
Installshield is doing or why it is exiting. I have tried it on
another NT 4.0 SP5 machine (not a clone, but it also has 3.3.2,
installed), and the same thing happens. I know other people have
installed this--does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Matt Wilbert
