Or, alternatively, you could run a Linux OS on your existing x86 hardware -
at least as efficient and stable as the Novell stuff (which I know nothing
about - knowing my luck someone will tell me it IS Unix-based hehe) and
free, and also comes with messaging capabilities built-in (talk, tel et
al). As someone mentioned earlier, the Samba package can also talk to
Wintel users. In fact (i'm dying to try this out as soon as i can get this
g!d-d___ed NIC to register in it) i think it also supports AppleTalk for
all your Mac users out there :D
