Repeated disk accesses when running VNC

It seems that now I am running the server OK, but each time I connect to the
VNC server,
I get an error message:
"Java net socket error: socket closed."
What am I doing wrong?

Are you sure you're not running WinVNC with debug settings enabled, or with
a virus killer running or similar?
