You can do this easily with Secure Shell (SSH):

1. Install sshd on the Windows2000
   (see http://www.isternet.sk/~luptak/setting-up-sshd-on-nt.htm)

2. Use SSH port redirection to get from your PC to any PC behind 
   your Windows 2000.
   (Read http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/sshvnc.html and
   http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/sshwin.html)

The port redirection works fine with SSH. You will get additional
benefits by running VNC over SSH: data compression and better security !

Do not forget to install WinVNC server on each PC you want to manage.
