Java Xvnc quit working!

I installed Xvnc on my FreeBSD 4.2 server. Everything 
looked great. The VNCViewer sessions went smooth 
and I was truly impressed with the Java scripts which 
allowed seeing the KDE desktop of the Unix server in 
an IE5 browser window.

But this morning I tried to access the Java session again 
through IE5.5 and I got this error message when I logged 
in to the session:

    java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException

The VNCViewer program from my Win9x workstations 
still works fine but the browser access has ceased to 
function. I was told that the java part of VNC is unstable 
on IE and that one should use Netscape instead. Any 
truth to this?
