SSH connection

We need more information... but I'll make a few assumptions.

Your location:
You have a machine with a VNC client (the client).

In between:
Firewall passing SSH traffic.

Remote location:
Location of your linux server running VNC (the VNC server).
This server is also running SSHD (the SSH server).

On your client, run SSH to connect to the SSH server.  Use SSH to forward
port 5901 on localhost (the client) to 5900 (or whatever port VNC is running
on the VNC server) on the VNC server.  If SSHD and VNC Server are running on
the same box, make sure loopback connections are enabled in VNC Server.

Next, use the VNC client to connect to localhost:1.
