This problem occurs on RH 6.0 too. The solution is very simple: in the
<root>/Xvnc/config/cf create a file host.def. This file need only 2
lines:
#define i386Architecture YES
#include <linux.cf>
(I assume of course that you work on an intel/amd machine, the other
possible architectures are AlphaArchitecture and Mc68020Architecture)
