Same wild suggestion as for the Excel trouble:
see chapter "VNCHooks" at the end of
  http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/winvnc.html
and try to add registry settings dedicated to your app for disabling all
those special functions, especially the "use_KeyPress" and
"use_Deferral" settings, so as to see if that helps...
