I am trying to get WinVNC to work on a Win 2k box

Mark,

I got it! It appears that if Win2K does not recognize a video card (line a
matrox G-400 it will load the standard VGA driver. This driver can not
change to a 1024x768 resolution, which is necessary for VNC to display on a
remote machine. Once I removed the G-400 and put in a G-200 it loaded the
correct drivers and I was able to up the resolution. After this I was able
to VNC to the machines that I could not before.

Thanks again,
