Vnc on Macintosh

I recently joined this this lista to try and find a solution for my
vnc-mac problem.

I have installed the vnc-server on my MacOs 9 machine and  installed the
patch.

When I try to connect from either windows or Linux, it connects properly

and requests the passwd but then just displays a blank screen.

The vnc-client on the mac works properly.
