Fatal server error:

Hi;

I installed vnc from source on a sun os box and when I try to run its
server I get this messages in the log file
What do I need to do to make these error go away?

Failed to establish all listening sockets
xrdb: Interrupted system call
xrdb: Can't open display 'planets:2'
xsetroot:  unable to open display 'planets:2'
xterm Xt error: Can't open display: planets:2
twm:  unable to open display "planets:2"
