Forwarding Serial Ports

It is possible to foreward serial ports under and NT and Linux, the are many
products available some of which use a standard protocol called CAPI, on a
windows machine you oftern need to replace the comm driver (it's not
difficult, honest). I'm not a big unix person so I'm not sure whats involved
there.

For Windows try looking for a product called Stomper ... it's low caost (but
not as cheap as VNC) and works well ... If you do a quick search on
AltaVista for "Stomper and Modem Sharing" you should find it .... assuming
you have CAPI driver/client for Unix you should be OK.
