The problem is... this doesn't give the user the ability to deny you access.
You can still connect to their machine if you feel like it.  And that
bothers a lot of users.  That's why I had to implement this feature into the
software.  Management would not have allowed me to deploy VNC on plant
without this capability.  Too many users would complain if they knew the
computer department had the ability to view their screens anytime they
wanted.  Not to mention there is a lot of proprietary information floating
around here that users are very protective of.  The permission question
really downgrades the ability to use VNC as a remote admin tool (someone has
to be on the other end to accept the connection) but it's a necessary evil
in many situations.
