uninstall vncserver

I installed vncviewer before knowing my server name.  I enter null
instead of backing out of the viewer and now windows 98 will not let
me run the program because it executed 'an illegal operation'.  How
can I get around this?

I tried to uninstall and reinstall using the windows 'uninstall' utility but
it does not seem to clean up everything to pre-program state...
