What is the proper procedure to follow for updating WinVNC on a WindowsNT server
when WinVNC has been installed as a service?

Here's what I did.....

1. Stopped the VNC Server service.
2. Used Add/Remove Programs and uninstalled WinVNC.
4. Replied Yes To All at the 'this is the last program that uses this module'
prompt.
5. Installed the new version.
6. Started the VNC Server Service

This seems to be working fine. Is it OK to do it this way?

BTW, I noticed that doing the Add/Remove Programs does not remove the service
nor remove other registry changes, which is fine with me (I don't have to re-add
them) assuming it's OK with WinVNC.
