narrowing the proglem down

[Kindle David]

i can get the server to run now but my log file has the following errors.
any ideas?

xrdb: No such file or directory
xrdb: can't open file '/users/dkindle/.Xresources'
twm:  another window manager is already running on screen 0?
twm:  unable to find any unmanaged screens
