Well, you didn't actually _say_, so I guess I have to ask: are you
using the menu option to send the sequence?

Note also that it's possible that -- if you're on Win9x, if the default
color depth (say), the one that's used before logins, differs from the
one that a given user has, that might cause the problem.

Create a new user on the workstation, and login into _that_, and see if
there's a difference -- new users will pick up the current default
desktop settings.
