Need backspace key on DEC keyboard

I am using vncviewer under Digital Unix to view the display from a Windows NT
machine. The
DEC keyboard has a key at the upper right hand corner of the main keyboard that
functions as a backspace key for DEC Terminal and xterm Windows. This key seems
to send the delete code to to the WINVNC server. This is handy for sending
alt-ctl-del for logging in, but it deletes the character to the right of the
cursor in Windows applications. The ctl-h combination brings up a menu instead of
erasing the character to the left of the cursor. Does anyone know how to enable
the function of deleting the character to the left of the cursor.

Thanks,
Dave
