list usage: autoreply?

BTW, this is one of the reasons why setting "Reply-To: " to the
mailing list is considered harmful by most mailing list admins.

Non-broken E-Mail systems will not send any auto-replies for messages
that carry "Precedence: bulk" in the header. Most mailing lists,
including this one, do have that header. So, using any non-broken
E-Mail system will assure that vacation notices won't get either to
the list nor to the list owner.
