Start Linux vncserver with a graphical login?

Hi folks,
after a bit of looking through scripts i managed to start the vncserver with
the kde and the same taste and feel as it usually is on your "real" desktop
at the console (talking about Linux, off course).

next step would be to start a (few) vncserver(s) from the rc-scripts
*without* any user's desktop, but the graphical login instead. is this
possible with the given tools, or would this have to be hardcoded into Xvnc
(or elsewhere)?
is there perhaps any other way?
