No VNC Icon inthe System tray. But still running?

The usual reason for the Icon not being there is that you don't log in to a
network, or run the Helper application ... VNC attempts to recognise a log
on, and then create the icon, but sometimes under 9x fails to do so ...

Hi Evan.

To find your IP number go to Start and click on Run...  Type "winipcfg" in
the Open box and click Ok.  This opens the IP Configuration window that
lists your IP number.

I cant help you with the other problem. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
