Thanx to the good folks on this list and this fine software,
I now have my users set up so they can look after the progs
and get a bit of work done. The promise of the techno postmodern
age.

I am supporting my users via 33.6 dial-up. This gets them in behind
the firewall thusly;

|-----------------------example 1-----------------------------|
|                                                             |
| |winboxen at home|<--dial-up-->|linux chap/ppp server|<---| |
|                                                           | |
|                 |macintosh at work|<----------lan---------| |
|                                                             |
|-------------------------------------------------------------|

Now, insofar as I can only offer 33.6 due to that just being the
way it is, I'd like my users to be able to avail themselves of
the commercial services they already subscribe to offering v.90
or in some cases xDSL thusly;

|-------------------example 2--------------------------------|
|                                                            |
|   |winboxen at home|<---ssh tunnel over internet-------|   |
|                                                        |   |
|   |------------------>|multihomed linux box|<----------|   |
|   |                                                        |
|   |-----private IP lan----------->|macintosh at work|      |
|                                                            |
|------------------------------------------------------------|

Now, I have pretty much made example 2 work if you substitute
a linux box for the winboxen at home, and use vncviewer.

The thing that has me completely stumped is the inability to
get the browser based java client to work, (yes I am fowarding
port 5800 from the target) AND that I have yet to determine whether
TTermpro or ttssh if you will, will support tunneling. Otherwise
yet another fun product, I can find no reference in the docs or
on the website for ttssh that relate to tunneling. As tunneling
is part of the rfc, I am suprised and perplexed.

Is there anyone who is doing this? If so, could you correspond with
me and help set my weak mind straight?

Thanx in advance.
